Nurtured Pets, a company dedicated to promoting health and wellness for pets, has introduced Anti-Lick Strip Prevent ™ to the retail industry, the first product of its type that effectively deters pets from licking and biting granulomas and hot spots – as an alternative to using an E-collar. The Anti-Lick Strip Pro, available exclusively to veterinarians, is designed to be placed over surgical bandages as an alternative to using the E-collar.

The patent-pending Anti-Lick Strip is a unique bandage strip with an adhesive backing on one side and all-natural active ingredients on the other. When applied over a problematic site, such as a granuloma, the outfacing all-natural active ingredients are delivered through the animal’s nasal passages and to the tongue when licked, poked or bitten. The active ingredients are 100 percent safe for the animal, despite its deterrent affect on the animal. Anti-Lick Strip Pro contains the same powerful, all-natural ingredient deterrents but with a more aggressive medical-grade adhesive for use over vet wrap or gauze. It is available exclusively for vets on 96” rolls that fit conveniently under clinical tables.
