As Edgetech I.G. celebrates its first 20 plus years of innovation, the company is proud to announce enhancements to Super Spacer® nXt™ that will take customers into the future. Among its many benefits, Super Spacer nXt is engineered with a unique hybrid desiccated elastomeric foam technology, proprietary core and pre-applied side adhesive that can reduce IG production time and energy usage by up to 40 percent.

Super Spacer nXt is recyclable because the materials used can be melted down and reused at Edgetech’s plant, helping the company decrease its scrap rates and environmental impact.

Our customers can feel good about using this product, and the changeover requires few – if any – equipment investments. Typically, nXt can run on existing machinery.”

 

According to Johnson, many customers have found Super Spacer nXt to work well with triple-pane systems, which are gaining popularity among manufacturers looking to stay ahead of impending stricter energy efficiency regulations. “nXt is easy to work with and provides tighter tolerances for use in triples,” Johnson said. “As Edgetech celebrates its 20^th anniversary, we have a lot of pride in our history and success.
