New Philadelphia, Ohio (January 25, 2010) – Nurtured Pets, maker of The Anti-Lick Strip Prevent™, Anti-Lick Strip Pro™ and Anti-Lick Strip Pro C™, exhibited at the North American Veterinarian Conference. The conference was held in Orlando, Florida, January 16-20.
Veterinarians and other buyers attending the show were pleased to learn about the uses of the Anti-Lick Strip Pro™ and Anti-Lick Strip Pro C™ to deter excessive licking, biting and chewing. The pet bandages use all-natural active ingredients — including cayenne pepper, lemon powder, clove oil, and oregano —and have a medical-grade adhesive backing. Both Anti-Lick Strip Pro and Pro C are easy-to-use peel-and-stick bandages that are packaged on 96-inch rolls. They are designed for in-clinic use to secure IVs and catheters, as extra protection of post-surgical sites when E-collars are prescribed and as an alternative to E-collars when requested. They are also useful when treating hot spots, granulomas, injection sites, minor wounds and more. Pro C has a more aggressive adhesive so it sticks better to casts and vet wraps.
In addition to exhibiting at the NAVC conference, Nurtured Pets sponsored two wet labs —“Bandaging Techniques” and “Casting and Splinting.” In both sessions, participants were introduced to the Anti-Lick Strip product line and were able to get hands-on experience to see how it can be used effectively in a clinic setting.
Cindy Miller, Director of Marketing for Nurtured Pets, was extremely pleased with the success the company had at the show. “We brought back lots of highly qualified leads of individuals and groups that were interested in our products,” she said. “Those veterinarians attending the wet labs were impressed with how the products can help them with their canine and feline patients.”
