A successful candidate would have:
A strong background in Lean, with Six Sigma skills (Green Belt preferred), mechanical and process engineering, customer interaction, ASQ Certification, Quality Management or Quality Engineering with a small to mid-size manufacturing company, ISO9000 experience preferably in a Leadership role, and working knowledge of SPC with a small to mid-size manufacturing company. This position requires the ability to assist in establishing quality metrics, audit current systems, lead resolution in customer quality issues, lead cross-functional teams in problem solving sessions to establish definitive root cause and effective corrective actions, track and analyze failure trends, as well as understand the impact of continuous improvement to the overall Quality Management System to include control plans and FMEA’s. Positive customer interaction experience is essential and limited travel will be a requirement of the position. A successful candidate would also possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), excellent analytical and mathematic skills, and basic computer skills to include MS Excel, Power Point and Word.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
