History

Lauren Manufacturing, the founding company, began operations as a rubber extrusion company in 1965 in Garrettsville, Ohio. Founded by Lauren International's Chairman of the Board, Dale Lauren Foland, the company quickly outgrew its original facility and moved its operations to a larger plant in Kent, Ohio. In 1973, the company moved its operations to New Philadelphia, Ohio and began production in early 1974.

Lauren International was formed in April 1994. Today, Lauren International is a holding company for six companies with locations in New Philadelphia, Ohio, Cambridge, Ohio, the United Kingdom and Germany.
